BPSC Head of Department (HOD) Recruitment 2025

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has invited applications for 218 Head of Department (HOD) posts in Government and Women’s Polytechnic Institutes under the Department of Science, Technology & Technical Education. The application process is online from 2nd September to 30th September 2025. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in the relevant field along with significant teaching/research experience. The minimum age is 33 years, with no upper age limit. The selection will be based on a written examination and interview. The application fee is ₹100, and candidates without Aadhaar must also pay a ₹200 biometric fee. Selected candidates will receive Pay Level 13A (₹1,31,400 per month).

Eligibility Criteria
Criteria | Requirement |
Educational Qualification | Ph.D. in relevant discipline with first class at prior levels preferred |
Experience | 12 years teaching/research/industry experience with minimum 2 years post-Ph.D. as Lecturer (Selection Grade I) OR 15 years with 3 years as Lecturer (Selection Grade II) |
